Lil' shit wasting her time on her computer.

Illustration thingyyy I did for interpretive. I'm not totally happy with it but it turned out okay in the end... the "orange" is a little more yellow and looks better on paper, but I can't seem to get it to look right.

Watercolour, ink, gouache.

i love that her eyes are closed and first I thought she sits in an aquarium really, which is good since you wanted to portray distance and disconnection

Oh man, I think I'm turning into this girl! Though to be fair, my city isn't that inviting, and the true outdoors are very hard to come by. I do manage to get out pretty often, however, so I hope that counts for something... ^^;

I like the contrast, not to mention the use of colors. My own interpretation is that the warm colors of the girl and her computer indicate that she's more stimulated by the technology; and the blue outdoors aren't in themselves uninviting, it's just that the girl views it as...lifeless, kind of, because she's too busy with the PC to give it a good look.

...

Also, I feel a little sorry for the flower she's pushing away.
