See, I'm just a biased weirdo and I've always had this weird misconception that it never got miserably hot in Canada. It hasn't been 100F all summer here and the measly 12% humidity we do get is pitiful. I'll quit griping haha. BC sounds nice.
BC is really beautiful, but it has its days as well where it gets pretty hot. I just preferred it there because the winters were a little less harsh. At least in the lower mainland. Rains a lot, though!
I like rain. My dad is from Washington, so we're not too far from BC so we know all about the rain.
Colorado is very dry, but it always rains quite a lot in the summer and early fall. And then snow. Lots and lots of snow. It's very bipolar. Sometimes winters are nice and its perfect fluffy snow but not miserable, and then there's no snow at all, but its -40F and you can't get warm no matter what. The saying goes "Don't like the weather? Give it five minutes, it'll change". Its true here.
